  1. CIAA Championship Game Set, WSSU-v-ECSU, My rant

With one week left in the regular season, the Championship game has been set. The Winston Salem State Rams will defend their title against the Elizabeth City State Vikings in Durham on November 10th in Durham, NC at Durham County Stadium.

The Rams took their frustration of their regional ranking and smashed Shaw U 62-31 to clinch the division. ECSU, took care of business defeating Virginia Union 27-21 and got a little help from Chowan beating Virginia State 33-21.

  2. Regional Rankings are a joke. Week 8 preview

So I'm sure by now you have seen the regional rankings. What a slap in the face to Winston Salem State and the CIAA! How in the world can Shippensburg be ranked ahead of WSSU if The Rams are ranked #4 in the poll and #2 in the AFCA poll while Shippensburg is ranked 13th?

I'm angered. Wait, more than angered, I'm pissed off!!!!! Yes I said it, I'M PISSED OFF!!!! Two years ago, I could understand, but last year, WSSU made it all the way to the national semi-finals. ...

It's hard to believe, but there is only three weeks left in the football season and the Northern Division seems to be up for grabs. For some odd reason, every time I give a team credit for their victory the previous week, they happen to lose the following week; hence: Bowie State!

Last week I gave Bowie credit winning their game against Chowan which was well deserved, this week, they allow Virginia State to hang around and the VSU Trojans pull off the upset in overtime during Bowie's ...

  4. Northern Division Dog fight, Bowie wins, ECSU caught napping, WSSU rolls

The Northern Division of the CIAA has turned into a dog fight. While Chowan and Elizabeth City are still the division leaders, they have opened up the door for Bowie State.

Before I go further, I must apologize to the Bowie State faithful. I've been hard on Bowie. Part of my harshness towards Bowie is that I'm still emotionally scarred from picking the Bulldogs to win the CIAA when they had 18 returning starters. I want to especially apologize to our faithful follower Vbeach31, who ...

  5. Upset Saturday, Lincoln & Livingstone win, Chowan is definitely for real!

This past Saturday, I went 2-4 on my predictions. My worst week in the three years I have been writing for I give credit to the two schools that won this past weekend that no one expected them to win, and that's Lincoln and Livingstone.

Very rarely do I start off an article talking about either Lincoln or Livingstone, but you have to give both schools credit for their upset victories this past weekend.

Livingstone went on the road and upset Virginia ...
