Ten games up, and ten games down, and the CIAA championship is upon us.

The Winston Salem State Rams are coming into this game as heavy favorites to repeat as champs with their 10-0 record, #4 D2football.com ranking and #2 AFCA Ranking. This is a team that last year went all the way to the D2football National Semifinal game.

Their opponent, The Elizabeth City State Vikings which has played one of the toughest schedules in all of D2football and are coming into the game ...

After watching this weekends results of CIAA teams going 3-9 against out of conference foes (i went 11-1 on my predictions), I'm done complaining and asking the question, why? Let's focus on the upside and zoom into those teams that are doing well so far this season in Winston Salem State, Virginia Union, and Bowie State.

By now, its pretty well known that Winston Salem State is the power team in this conference. There's no stopping this Rams team. They have beaten two pretty good ...

WSSU at Virginia Union

I'm hearing a whole lot of folks all hyped up about VUU quick 2-0 start. Lets give credit where credit is due. Coach Mike Bailey has done a good job getting these kids focused in the midst of a Hurricane against a good St. Aug squad and on the road in the Palmetto City against Benedict.
